A scalable, interoperable, and secure network protocol for the next web

Connecting MetaVerses, NFTs, and DeFi with all of their partners and securing all data

Cros is a protocol and a framework for collaboration between organizations, using blockchain smart contracts.

But what does this mean? Aptly named, Cros is the true cross-org environment where operations of both business value and supply chains are possible in a safer, faster and much more efficient way.

In addition to eliminating the nuances and nuisances of traditional cross-org systems, organizations on the Cros platform are presented with a plethora of advantages. Cros is an onchain collaboration platform with a killer toolkit, a suit of services, and connectors that would ease the business and IT integration.

Data-3.png

In Plain English

Cros is a cross-organizational network run on distributed ledgers to primarily protect data and resources.

Cros the line, and lead

We are redefining the hallmarks of traditional business operations.

Own

In true spirit of the philosophy behind blockchain technology, using Cros, organizations have full ownership of their resources. Data compromisation is no longer the price you have to pay for collaboration.

Control

With data privacy, comes control. We are building a world in which authority does not belong to one higher power, and in which power is distributed throughout the Cros community.

Trust

It comes at a very high price in the world we live in. In the environment Cros is engineering, operations are made possible outside of the confinements of mutually trusting parties.

Consensus

Validators

Secure the chain by staking CROS tokens, validating proof collectors and participating in consensus with other validators.

Collectors

Receive the transactions from participating enterprises and produce proofs for validators.

Nominators

Select trustworthy validators to keep the chain secure by staking CROS tokens.

Governance

Governance Council

Of elected passive stakeholders who propose rules and veto dangerous or malicious activities.

Technical Council

Propose and vote on changes to the development of the network, including parameters such as consensus protocol, staking together with the Governance Council.

A cross-org business process execution platform, but better

Cros has been designed with an Organization First mindset and a focus on ease of integration and transparent execution of cross-org business processes.

In our solution, we consider blockchain as any other design component and solve for scalability issues through the right mix of side chains, rollups, and other techniques.

Integration with Polygon and a built-for-purpose Layer 2 solution are different technical design strategies considered in the solution.

Blockchain suitability has been assessed against the key scenarios and requirements covering attributes such as multiparty, trusted authority, data immutability, and non-repudiation and transparency.

Engineered for Cross-Org Integration

Organization First

Cros has been designed with an “Organization First” mindset with a focus on ease of integration and transparent execution of cross-org business processes. Using blockchain technology is a side-effect.

Blockchain as a Tool

We consider blockchain as any other design component and evaluate its use as a storage element, a computation element, or a communication element for interaction between other system components. It is also used as a control mechanism.

Suitability

Blockchain suitability has been assessed against the key scenarios and requirements covering attributes such as multiparty, trusted authority, data immutability and non-repudiation and transparency.

Better technology, better plumbing

Cros provides the plumbing for the enterprises in the form of tools, services and an integration platform to bring together their business processes (including Cloud ERPs) and makes it part of the business collaboration platform.

Leave the hard work of integration on Cros

The collaboration platform itself is a set of smart contracts that model the cross-organization business process and assets and executes them on-chain. This includes, not only the process-specific control flow and process data, but also housekeeping services like process instantiation.

A layer is envisioned to ease the integration process, consisting of a set of tools to design, compile, deploy and monitor the business processes on the on-chain layer.
